Pakistan offers India to host IPL events

This is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

NEW Delhi—Pakistan government and Pakistan cricket officials have offered India to host IPL events in Pakistan at Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Quetta and Abbottabad. The sources in IPL revealed to this correspondent that PCB officials and some officials from Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi approached IPL management and offered to host the events in Pakistan and offered that the IPL participants would be given the VVIP/Presidential security and lapse that occurred during the Sri Lankan team’s visit would be fulfilled. The IPL sources confirmed further that this offer was considered seriously and it was almost decided that the event should be shifted to Pakistan as Indian Security agencies gave a negative response to the hosting of the event in India after the episode of the firing on Sri Lankan cricket team at Lahore. At the same time, South African cricket board was reluctant to host event in South African cities as the South African cricket authorities as well as security agencies refused to guarantee no damage to the life of foreign cricketers as a trend had been set to target international cricketers. However, after hectic interventions of Indian High Commission in the South Africa, the Indian authorities and the South African Cricket officials reached to an agreement that narrates that IPL even could be held in South Africa.
At the same time, the security officials at the Presidential office in Islamabad are worried that if the Sri Lankan cricket teams was given the presidential security then what to talk of about the security of the President of Pakistan. It may be mentioned here that the Sri Lankan authorities were guaranteed by the Pakistan authorities that during the tour of Sri Lankan cricket team to Pakistan the guest team would be given the same security that is given to the President and Premier of Pakistan. Yet the gory incident took place.

Life Ban for Munaf Patel

Munaf Patel is a 63-yr old man in the guise of a 23-yr old. The only thing that he brings to Indian cricket is bad attitude. His smug-ass smile is just disgusting.

The other day during the 3rd one-day international against New Zealand, he almost caused one of the worst upsets in the history of world cricket. India almost lost the game from a position that no side has ever lost a game from, and all this because of his 3 overs. The guy entirely lost his mental balance in the game and just kept grinning when the Kiwis were beating the shit out of him. The whole world was wondering what he was smiling about.

I have no idea how he has managed to keep his place in the side. Either he is a nephew or a prospective son-in-law of Dilip Vengsarkar.

I think he should be banned for life from playing Cricket.

Gambhir and Sehwag: Made for each other

Gambhir and Sehwag are arguably the best one-day and twenty20 opening pair in the world at the moment.

Sehwag can partner with other players and still score runs but the same cannot be said about Gambhir. For Gambhir to click, he must partner with Sehwag.

And this Tendulkar comes in between them like "Kabaab mein Haddi" (a thorn in the flesh). When will he retire btw? I guess now that he just scored 163 in New Zealand, he would be around till 2011 World Cup.

What more could England do?

England has played so well in West Indies. The only innings that they didn't play well in was the second innings of the first test match and that cost them the series.

In the last 3 tests, they have come so close to victory but couldn't manage to knock over the Windies batsmen.

Strauss scored a century in 3 consecutive test matches and others also contributed well.

What more could they do?
